Corporate Culture
It’s Getting Better All The Time! Mental Health Outreach Inc., and its affiliated program establishes and maintains a culture that:

• Expects all employees to adhere to the highest moral, legal and ethical standards in the workplace and assures that the people we serve, affiliated providers, staff and contracts, are conducting business with strict confidentiality, honor and fairness;
• Is proactive in problem identification and resolution; and
• Encourages reporting through its non-retaliatory policy.
 

We require that all officers, directors, managers, and employees know and understand the provisions and procedures stated in the Corporate Compliance Plan.  All such employees will attend training on Federal and applicable state laws and regulations and guidelines, compliance-related policies, and procedures and standards of professional conduct.  Staff are trained on the standards of professional conduct, to include on Fraud/Abuse, Whistle blowers Policy and the False Claims Act.

We use a variety of activities to identify and improve quality of care and service related to the delivery of care.  Each QI activity follows a structured, step-by-step development and implementation as follows:

  • Problem identification
  • Prioritization
  • Evaluation
  • Corrective/resolution implementation
  • Follow-up measurement and reassessment
